Recurring Developments
We Didn't Make A Huge Mistake

This data visualization collaboration with our friends at Beutler Ink was named one of the “internet virals of the year” by The Telegraph, and garnered mentions in The Onion’s A/V Club, BuzzFeed, The Guardian, FastCo, Entertainment Weekly, Urban Outfitters, and many more.
Recurring Developments is an interactive visualization of all of the running jokes in Arrested Development. Each joke is mapped according to when it occurs in each season and tracked all of the jokes within each episode for fans of the show to recall their favorite moments, see how often jokes occur, and share fun information on social platforms.
- The Atlantic’s The Wire called it “the Ultimate Inside-Joke Machine for ‘Arrested’ Fans”
- FastCo Create warned, “If you’re a true fan and you ignore this visualization, you will have made a huge mistake.”
- IFC exclaimed, “Recurring Developments is a veritable Rosetta Stone”
- Uproxx simply wrote, “INTERNET LOVE WEBSITE.”
